Connect to your VPS with SSH

Use the IP address and login account supplied for your own service. Do not assume that the account is root or that password authentication is enabled. On Windows, open PowerShell or Windows Terminal; on macOS and Linux, open Terminal. If the ssh command is missing, install the OpenSSH client using your operating system’s official instructions.

Replace USER and SERVER_IP in the command below. If your access details specify a different port, add -p followed by that port. Never paste a password or private key into a support ticket.

On the first connection, SSH displays the server’s host key fingerprint. Verify it against a trusted source for that server before accepting it. A changed fingerprint on a later connection needs investigation; do not simply remove the old key. If connection fails, confirm the service status, IP, account, port and firewall rule before contacting support.

ssh USER@SERVER_IP
